Port Jobs 2024 Highlights

Port Jobs continues to provide critical employment, education and resources for job seekers and airport employees. We are here to help with job search, online job application assistance, resumes, SIDA security badge training and test preparation, education and more.

  • We served 8,471 comunity members at Airport Jobs, local fairs and hiring events.
  • 130 asylum seekers received in-person training-related services at Airport Jobs and with partners, Congolese Integration Network, Asian Counseling and Referral Services, Partner in Employment and Riverton Park Methodist Church.
  • Provided free Airport University college courses for SEA airport employees in partnership with Highline College and South Seattle College with 121 students completing 109 courses.
  • Helped 658 clients with career navigation, resume assistance, SIDA badge preparation and interview prep.
  • Awarded 40 Alaska Airlines-Airport University Scholarships with  $40,000 in scholarships awarded year-to-date.
  • Port Jobs recruited at 154 job fairs, hiring sessions and recruiter events.
  • Provided in-person, in-language SIDA training assistance to 392 clients speaking 32 languages.
  • Provided information on support-net resources such as training opportunities, unemployment, healthcare resources, food and energy assistance, free tutoring and technology classes, library card assistance, low-cost internet and more.
  • 133 Basic Food, Employment & Training Services (BFET) clients received 255 participant packages which included over $200 worth of basic hygiene and health products.
