Alaska Airlines – Airport University Scholarships
Through Port Jobs, Alaska Airlines generously funds a scholarship program for SEA Airport employees who are in college studying aviation careers. All SEA Airport employees are eligible to apply and can use awards for programs in aviation maintenance technology, pilot training, aeronautical science, logistics, airline dispatch and more.
The scholarship program strives to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in aviation career pathways.

Scholarship Guidelines 2024
Application Accepted:
- Two times a year (spring quarter and fall quarter)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Current SEA Airport employee (any airport company). Full-time or part-time hours are acceptable.
- Enrolled in one of the following programs:
- Aviation Maintenance Technology
- Avionics
- Logistics / Supply Chain Management / International Trade
- Pilot License (all certification levels are eligible)
- Aeronautical Science
- Aviation Operations/Management
- Air Traffic Control
- Airline Dispatch
First-time Applicants Only
- Note: We are not accepting applications from former scholarship recipients at this time.
Other Application Considerations:
- Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in an accredited community/technical college, university, or in-flight school. Boot camps are not eligible.
- Be admitted as a student at the college where you plan to use this scholarship.
- Have applied for financial aid (FAFSA or WASFA). If you have not applied, you will be asked to provide a valid reason. For example, financial aid cannot be used to pay for flight training.
