Port Jobs 2025 Q1 Highlights

Port Jobs continues to provide critical employment, education and resources for job seekers and airport employees. We are here to help with job search, online job application assistance, resumes, SIDA security badge training and test preparation, education and more.

  • We served 2,201 comunity members at Airport Jobs, local fairs and hiring events.
  • Provided free Airport University college courses for SEA airport employees in partnership with Highline College and Green River College with 39 students completing 3 courses.
  • Helped 193 clients with career navigation, resume assistance, SIDA badge preparation and interview prep.
  • Awarded 20 Alaska Airlines-Airport University Scholarships totalling $20,000.
  • Port Jobs recruited at 50 job fairs, hiring sessions and recruiter events.
  • Provided in-person, in-language SIDA training assistance to 81 clients speaking 15 languages.
  • Provided information on support-net resources such as training opportunities, unemployment, healthcare resources, food and energy assistance, free tutoring and technology classes, library card assistance, low-cost internet and more.
  • 54 Basic Food, Employment & Training Services (BFET) clients received 66 participant packages which included over $200 worth of basic hygiene and health products, along with 12 new job placements and 18 Life Skills training completions.
